As expected, Apple has released details of the new iPhone6 – and a new Apple Watch. Grab all the quick facts here.
Apple chief executive Tim Cook gave details of the new iDevices in Cupertino, California today – namely the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and smartwatch (called the Apple watch).

New A8 processor – CPU is 25% faster and graphics is 50% faster than it’s predeccsor.
Screen size – 4.7 inches (iPhone 5 is 4 inches)
Resolution – 1334 X 750
Camera – 8MP iSight camera with 2.2 aperture and new sensor

Also at the announcement, was details of the new Apple watch that will link to your iPhone. From the pics of the watch, the first thing i noticed was the dial on the side – apparently it is not there just for looks but is functional.
The touch screen device will come in two sizes, and in classic, sports and gold edition models, but won’t be available until early 2015 in the US.
It can be used to detect pulse rate and has other health-tracking applications, as well as including apps for maps, photos, music and messages.
