Cisco IOS command set quick reference

Friday 20 July 2007 @ 4:39 am

When I was studying for my CCNA afew years back, I needed some reference. There are plenty of books to read, and I decide to make some notes myself, and store them online where I could easily find them.

Below, are a list of the more common things you need to remember. If you want actual full blown explananations, then it isn’t for you. They are more meant for revision - the common buzz word is ‘cram’ ;-)

Help your web page designing with a HEX colour code chart

Tuesday 17 July 2007 @ 2:29 am

I don’t always use WYSIWYG web page editors (eg Frontpage, Dreamweaver etc) where everything you need is at your fingertips, so at times I need to know the HEX code for a particular colour. UNIX/Linux VI made easy with this reference

Friday 13 July 2007 @ 8:22 pm

Get your blog noticed

Friday 6 July 2007 @ 1:04 am

There are heaps of blog directories out there. Some better than others, and I guess it also depends on the theme of your site.

Known as the ‘Directory of Blog Directories’, Blog Skinny is relatively new compared to the other blog directories on the net, but is quickly gaining in popularity and number of links.

I like the layout - mainly because it is a little bit different to all the others, and I do get a bit of traffic referred from them :-) . I thought that that the traffic would die off after I first signed up and started getting the initial run of hits, but I regularly get traffic from them.

Your website gets rated by other ’skinny’ users, and you can look at your stats in real time. Best thing is that it’s free!

Check out the Directory of Blog Directories here.
