Phonetic Alphabet

Certainly not IT related, but you will use the phonetic alphabet in the IT world  – strange but true.

The Phonetic Alphabet  is a system of phonetic notation devised by linguists to accurately and uniquely represent each of the wide variety of sounds (phones or phonemes) used in spoken human language. Ideal for spelling/giving details over the phone without error.

Unfortunately I can never remember it, so I need to keep referring back to it.
