There are screws under the 2 rubber feet in the front. The rubber feet just pop out and reveal the screws.

I had to apply a lot of force to get the front off, and the front only popped off when an internal plastic tab broke off completely.

You don’t need a screwdriver unless the thing is really that tight. As I said, it does require a knack and ‘persuasion’.

My WRT54G v5 won’t budge. I’ve tried fishing around for tabs with a screwdriver, but haven’t found anything. Other videos say they just pop right off, but mine is putting up quite a fight.
